Introduction!

Welcome to the blog and the first official post! For those who don't know us, we're Abe and Arielle. We've been married for almost four years and have done a good deal of traveling in that time, including going to New Zealand and Australia for an amazing honeymoon. After more than a decade of living in New York City, we decided it was time for a change. Due to where we both are in our careers and lives, we decided to take a series of road trips, planned primarily around the five weddings we have over the next few months. We're not entirely sure where we're headed ultimately, splitting our longer periods of down time between our parents in Los Angeles and Westchester, New York, but we're excited to be on the road and visiting so many new places. The blog's title is a reference to Abe's other blogs, Movies with Abe and TV with Abe...and Arielle is along for this ride!

This blog will be updated as frequently as possible, likely a day or two after the events described take place. Since we're getting a bit of a late start, we'll be recapping the first few days at a quicker pace. A few things to know: while we do have accommodations booked for each night of this first major trip, scheduled to last through August 22nd, our plans may change at any point due to drives, weather, or any other factor. We'll also be sampling the best cuisine we can find around the country, though we both have dietary restrictions and preferences. Arielle only eats kosher meat, while Abe eats kosher animals but doesn't mix them with dairy. Arielle dislikes a few foods, while Abe avoids peppers, salad dressing, and many more things. Our main objective is to see as much as we can, to eat our way through America, and to regale anyone reading with great stories and pictures of what we've done.
