Day 2.21: Atlanta Day 3

We tried to sleep in a little because we had been up so late the night before, and succeeded somewhat. Arielle went with Sarah and Jonah to Kroger to pick up some food while Abe finished up his Oscar predictions after recording a video for his recently-revived Minute with Abe series. Hillel came back to finish his Oscar predictions but tempted us to play more Werewolf instead, which was of course very fun. We did our laundry for the first time on the trip and played Sushi Go with Sarah while we waited for Jonah to wake up from his nap. We drove about ten minutes to Fuego Mundo, the local South American Kosher steakhouse. Arielle ordered the chicken empanadas as an appetizer, and she and Abe split the Argentinean Churrasco steak and the Uruguayan Grass Fed Ribeye (we recommend the latter), and got sweet plantains, yucca fries, corn on the cob, and bok choy as our sides (the first two were incredible). Sarah got steak and chicken skewers, which she shared with Jonah.

We stopped at Target to look for a steering wheel cover. We failed but got ice cream for later! We returned home to watch the Oscars, and everyone but Abe filled out their ballots very close to the start of the show. We enjoyed the Oscars, which featured two surprises at the very end, and Sarah and Hillel both beat Abe’s score by 1! Of course we stayed up playing Werewolf, then ended with two games of Sushi Go, this time until around 12:45am.

Approximate number of miles covered: 12
